2009, 14 March-14 April - 36th annual Meridian Bistate Art Competition at the Meridian Museum of Art (MS) - two drawings accepted for show, "Cooperation" and "Nine Panes of Thought". Won top achievement award with "Nine Panes of Thought".
2009, 2 March-1 May - Group exhibition at Greater Starkville Development Foundation Gallery, 200 Main Street, Starkville, MS - two paintings on display, an acrylic landscape called "A Cloudy Day in Sessums", and a watercolor entitled "Tree in Winter".

2008, 7 June-12 July- Meridian Museum of Art, People's Choice Award, I entered and had accepted one piece, "Nine Panes of Thought". This piece won first place in the drawing/print category!
2008, 19 April - Cotton District Arts Festival Art Juried Competition, Starkville, MS- Won second place overall with "Nine Panes of Thought". An additional piece, "Ambition", was accepted, but did not receive an award.
2008, 5-19 Jan.- A collaborative drawing done with Bernard Dumaine, entitled"Honeymoon" included in an exhibition in Champniers, France at the La Mediatheque gallery.

2006, 20 May-"Arts in the Gardens"-painting in local gardens-did 3 quick pieces: "Poppies" (watercolor), "Artichoke" (watercolor), and pen and ink sketch of a shed. Also displayed at Starkville Arts Council fundraiser on 7 July.

As a result of this, my entry "Zabulation" with be included in the annual Energy Art Salon Exhibition at Murphy Hill Gallery located on the third floor of the historic Sears & Roebuck Bldg. at 3333 W Arthington St. Chicago, Illinois 60624, USA (http://www.murphyhillgallery.com/ ). The exhibition will run from Jan. 15 - Feb. 25, 2010.

2009, January. I had three of my drawings published in an art and poetry book entitled "Harvests of New Millennium", which is published in India. The three pieces are "Infinity" , "Self Searching 5" , and "Facing the Future".
2007, December. I was interviewed by the editor of the Midsouth Entomologist with the focus being my illustrative skills [pdf of interview].
2007, November. I was interviewed by the "Exquisite Corpse" club, a wonderful surreal collaborative group hosted on the Deviant Art web site.
